It is an incredibly precious gift when you find someone that you trust deeply enough to give full access and permission to speak into your life, whether the feedback is positive or constructive. Donald is someone who has repaid that trust and more in my own journey.

The greatest impact that I have experienced through the coaching process with him is in two main areas. Firstly, it helped me to cultivate resilience and strength in my character which enabled me to persevere in my pastoral vocation when it was clear that it was heading to an inevitable end.

Secondly, coaching has brought me a few significant steps forward in my self-awareness as a person and as a leader. In my industry, it’s probably one of the easiest to deceive yourself because all the ‘good work’ you do can hide your flaws. Therefore, every difficult step of changing my paradigm and behaviour has been built on being honest with where my real starting point is, of which Donald has played an invaluable part in.

One area where he has always exceeded my expectations over the years is the heart and empathy that he brings into the coaching process. Beyond just going through methodology and formula, you can trust that he genuinely wants the best for you, and is willing to go to great lengths to help you, even if takes him being vulnerable himself.
